In 2010, Blue Star Technology was founded with the idea that businesses need complex IT services delivered and explained in simple business terms. Since its early beginnings as a closely-held, two-person venture, Blue Star has developed into a professionally run enterprise with outstanding client service and satisfaction ratings.

Based in Bloomingdale, Illinois, Blue Star Technology offers best-in-class IT management services at a sustainable cost to small and medium-sized businesses in the Greater Chicago Area. By shifting the IT responsibilities to us and eliminating unnecessary pain points, your business will experience a boost in productivity.

David Litt - Founder and CEO

David is directly responsible for all business operations and the financial end of the business. In 2010, David founded Blue Star Technology with the idea that business owners need complex managed IT infrastructure services and explained in simple business terms.

David brings his 25 years of experience as a successful entrepreneur to Blue Star Technology, heading several start-ups, purchases and expansions as well as having successfully in the past two and a half decades. To that end, Blue Star Technology has grown from its two-person closely-held inception to a professional run enterprise with outstanding customer service and client satisfaction ratings. 

David earned his Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, while running his first start-up business, Illini Favor Company. 

Kevin Piket - Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Kevin is directly responsible for new business development, marketing and strategic partnerships. Kevin has over 23 years of experience in sales, sales management and entrepreneurship primarily at emerging-growth IT service and professional service firms ranging from start-ups to already establish companies. Kevin's primary background is in sales leadership, business development and client expansion. Kevin has held many successful sales teams including the growth of one team from $6 million to $68 million in 3 1/2 years. Kevin is also an adjunct Professor at Aurora University teaching sales and marketing classes.

Kevin has volunteered his time over the years in the community on various boards such as the Naper Settlement Museum Board, Teen Parent Connection, as a Business Consultant with the Naperville Central High School Entrepreneurship & Advanced Marketing classes and Naperville Unit School District 203's Business Partnership Executive Council. Kevin graduated from Aurora University with an MBA in Leadership and from Eastern Illinois University with a BA in Communincations.

James Dillman - Vice President of Managed Services

James is directly responsible for internal and external architecture, service and delivery of managed services and vetting new and existing vendor services. Throughout his extensive career, James has attained 24 certificated of the highest level with high profile partners which include VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV), Google Apps Certified Administrator, NetApp Certified Storage Associate, MCSA: Office 365 and Cisco SMB Engineer.

He is also responsible for our commitments to continuing education and development of best-in-class services. James has earned his Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections at Aurora University. 

Rich Louderbough - Chief Customer Officer

Rich is directly responsible for providing leadership, vision and coordination to Blue Star Technology's client relationship initiatives. Rich partners with clients to formulate plans, implement coordinated solutions and identify technology roadmaps. His authority encompasses computers, applications, phone systems and other related technology applications. Rich also serves as the lead on projects covering Client On-boarding, IT service delivery and other managed service engagements. Along with this, Rich also identifies and architects new product solution opportunities and leads the initiative for approval and implementation.

Rich graduated from the University of New Orleans with a degree in Management.
